This new and improved thermal profiler hardware from DJK is built to endure the toughest daily handling. Additionally, the electronic circuitry has been enhanced to withstand higher voltage spikes that can occur occasionally in some ovens and wave solder machines. DJK stands behind its products, offering a standard two-year warranty on this durable profiler.
The DJK X⁵™ thermal profiler is available in 7, 9, and 12 channel versions, using standard type K thermocouple connectors. Acquiring more data in a compact unit is just the beginning. The X⁵’s industry-leading performance ensures better data acquisition, allowing you to precisely identify what’s happening with each thermal profile and process in your factory. Thermal profile data is conveniently transferred to your computer via USB connection. The X⁵’s RF version transfers profile data in real time to the PC via wireless radio frequency transmitters. Powered by standard AAA batteries, the X⁵ also supports rechargeable batteries if preferred. The profiler can be powered via the USB cable when connected to a computer, bypassing the batteries and extending their lifespan.
Data Intelligence Software
The X⁵’s thermal profiling software features a modern, graphical interface that quickly and intuitively guides you through the profiling process. It measures all your critical profile and process data, including slope, peak temperature, time above liquidous, and more. Additionally, the software calculates the Process Window Index™ (PWI) statistic. The PWI objectively identifies your profile’s fit to the established process window. A PWI less than 100 indicates an in-spec profile. The closer the PWI is to 0, the more centered your process is within the optimal window. The PWI instantly reveals where adjustments are needed in your process or oven. The X⁵ comes with manual prediction capabilities, allowing you to instantly view the expected changes in the profile based on oven setpoint adjustments.
The X⁵ also includes dual-mode functionality: passive profiling recording and active oven setup and process optimization. The Navigator Power™ feature, which automates process improvement and equipment optimization, is included as a standard feature with the X⁵. It allows you to quickly identify the optimal oven setup based on one of three optimization criteria:

SPC Charting and Process Improvement
